Future Directions of Web Performance Tooling

Web Performance Tooling is continuously evolving. A huge number of tools is available helping to analyze and diagnose web performance problems. The downside is that a performance analyst cannot use one single tool but rather has to use a large tool set where each tool does similar things but not quite the same. Eventually you find yourself using ten different tools and having loads of incompatible data.

This BOF aims at bringing together tool developers and performance practitioners to discuss the future of performance tooling. A general overview of web performance tooling for development, large scale testing and production monitoring will settle the ground for further discussion.

The outcome of the BOF will be published in one or more blog posts serving as a basis for further community discussion.
